My favorite thing when they would come visit when I was little is Grandpa would always take us to the park to feed the ducks and play. I would also love that my mom always made Grandpa's favorite cookie, raisin filled cookies, when they came to visit. I think they will always remind me of him. I will always remember the tight hugs and the pokes in the ribs and the quiet whisper of "I love you" in my ear. As we got older we would get to go to dinner somewhere with them when the came and we sure loved that! (we didn't eat out much) And Grandpa would always say when we couldn't finish what we ordered, "Your eyes were bigger than your belly!"
